well i made it to ban dung for songkran this year and without a doubt so far as been one of the best in 10 years of coming top issan its been fun chilled out up lifting and with a decent bunch around you ban dung comes up trumps again
to get a view of a traditional songkran get a stool at eddies bar and have one of the best vista.s around ban dung was packed solid yesterday there was some very dodgy dancing going on buy myself and others maybe i should get the film censors on this before i publish it not sure

but anyway iam having a great time in issan apart from my very first water encounter as i left the village the day before yesterday after my 5 year old son held the mob back a gang of his friends with buckets and water pistols i was more then happy to let them but jamie said dont get my daddy in Thai very sweet
as i made my way across country on what used to be partly a red road last time we where home know tarmacked all the way to ban dung another group of small children
so i slowed down which is always the best thing to do dont try and speed up and avoid them that's how many people end up falling of when you get a kisser full of water
sh-t as i stopped i saw the water pulled directly from the pond near buy green and black looked terrible as they poured it over me it dident smell so good so lesson 101 learned avoid short cuts
even covered in smelly water songkran is still great fun and the people of issan give it there all with many correctly sprinkling water on you with a little talk on the cheeks forget the main tourist areas issan the place to go for songkran
i could be writing this post on udonmap but since they banned me a few friends and myself take to blogging to get the real stories from real people out not just things that sell services for udonmap udon thani.s no 1 site for been mislead
